Mannequin Rumba and Cosmic Blues, part of the Dark Horizon and Total Eclipse CD's respectively, were actually done on this Charvel (as opposed to the instrument featured on the Total Eclipse Poster). Wayne's Charvel strings are always GHS Boomers (10's), ... always; with Charvel (serial number 3070 P.O. Box 245 San Dimas, CA 91773 U.S.A.) and was manufactured when Charvel was in San Dimas, California. An extraordinary instrument with a flat fret board and Kahler Tremolo. At the time he bought it (circa 1985), it was the most expensive instrument he ever had (at $900). ...'The uninitiated might think that there are so many guitars, they all sound alike, but after years of playing one begins to hear the differences, subtle though they may be. The result is that when imagining instrumentation I inevitably choose an instrument based on those subtleties. Still, instruments surprise you with their versatility and unusual applications. If ever there was a perfect instrument, I've never experienced anything better than this Charvel.'

The Mannequin Rumba features Freddy Dugard on drums.
