Born Wayne Steven Raglan in New York.*  Formerly a Brunswick Records Recording Artist; TABU Records Recording Artist Wayne Raglan is a Graduate of Queens College, Flushing, New York with two Bachelors Degrees (one in Mathematics, one Computer Science).  A NAUI Certified Master Scuba Diver. Wayne started playing guitar at age 9 and received his first professional instrument at age 13 (a Gibson ES-335 which he still owns) from his uncle (Leon Lewis, also a professional guitarist presently residing in Brooklyn, New York).  Wayne has worked with

King, The Drifters, Johnny Thunder and songwriter Rudy Clark and New York (and LA's) #1 Mix Master Tony Maserati, among others.  Started his publishing company (COMLAB Music) in 1992 and acquired AIP Recording studios in 2001.  Wayne plays classical guitar, acoustic 6 and 12 string (which can be heard on the albums Spacewalk, Total Eclipse, Cosmic Blues, Orbit, Dark Horizon, Supernova and Ring Of Fire!), jazz, rock and blues; 4-5 and 6 string electric fretted and fretless basses, drums and keyboards.  A prolific writer and producer with a catalog of over 60 songs and instrumental pieces, Wayne has appeared in many venues from intimate jazz clubs to Madison Square Garden with performances in television and in film.

  *..."When in labor, my father, a cab driver at the time, was working driving a cab; my mom didn't call an ambulance; she called another cab .. They drove to Mary Immaculate Hospital on Jamaica Avenue in New York (a 15 minute ride); they never made it; I was born on a stretcher between the cab and the hospital. Labeled a 'dirty' birth, I was kept away from the other newborns (they didn't want me to infect the other babies). To this day, I prefer quiet to crowds. My mother tried to contact the cab driver and thank him, only to discover that, less than a week later, he had died. One life arrived, another departed.. I was born, the same day Albert Einstein died and Paul Revere had his famous ride.

I studied music at Queens College in Flushing, Queens; {at the time, the second best music school in the United States; number one being Juliard in New York}, and can trace my instructors back to Beethoven and Rimsky Korsakoff. I only mention it, because when I found out, I thought it was mildly interesting."
